Fakarava

Confetti is well-anchored in 60-feet in front of the little village, Rotoava. Dave, our official French Polynesia tour guide, has already met the mayor of Fakarava and filled us in on everything there is to do here. Feels great to be sitting flat inside the atoll. Our game of hearts tonight was so easy, not having to keep the cards from slipping or flying.

Update (Monday): A great day was had today renting beach cruisers and biking much of the island. Dave went scuba diving with a group in the pass. and the rest of us will be joining a boat tomorrow morning to be dropped off in the pass to snorkel. The dive shop's motto is, "Any dive without a shark is free."
